Based
on the concentrations of TPHg, BTEX, and fuel oxygenates detected in MW-8 and MW-9
during the initial sampling (April 9, 1999), collection of additional samples are warranted
to confirm the previous results and to establish a trend in hydrocarbon concentrations.
Given the concentrations detected in these two monitoring wells, we are also
recommending that monitoring wells MW4 and MW-7 be sampled. We recommend that
groundwater samples be analyzed for TPHg using USEPA 8015, BTEX using USEPA
8020, and fuel oxygenates using USEPA 8260. Once the analytical results have been
received, further recommendations regarding assessment (if warranted) and groundwater
sampling will be presented.
!I Sincerely,
EMCON
a J son, R.G 5 6 Mark CapjX. 6561
oje anager Project Geologist
cc: Mr. Lawrence Beasley Date u et
Post-its Fax Note 7671 l5 . pages
1 To A_ , From
Co./Dept n7VtV Co. r 5
" # /A/ _ Phone ) g . o
Fa% N WA 610 (0
_ Fax
l
9
