HEALTH <br /> Apache Plastics <br /> WGR Project #6-06604 PURWif i/ -f?V!C-3 <br /> Dear Mr Crownover <br /> This letter report presents the results of the groundwater sampling performed by Western Geologic <br /> Resources, Inc (WGR) on 13 June 1991 at the Apache Plastics, Inc (API) facility located at <br /> 2050 East Fremont Street in Stockton, California (Figure 1) <br /> The scope of work was as follows <br /> 1) Take depth-to-water and well-casing volume measurements for all groundwater monitor <br /> wells, <br /> 2) Collect groundwater samples from the wells for analysis, <br /> 3) Update the database for water-level measurements and groundwater analytic data, and <br /> 4) Review laboratory and field data and prepare a report of the investigation <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> API, a manufacturer of extruded plastic pipe, is located in a mixed commercial district on the <br /> eastern side of Stockton, California (Figure 2) Port Stockton Food Distributors (PSFD), an <br /> industrial food supplier is to the west of the site, and Kelvard Refrigeration,a refrigeration systems <br /> repair company, is to the east The Stockton Taxi Company, a taxi fueling and repair facility is to <br /> the north of the site and an auto parts distributor is to the south of the site <br /> PSFD has a 2,000-gallon capacity diesel underground storage tank (UST) located across Fremont <br /> Street from the PSFD facility, a 5,000-gallon diesel UST at the central portion of their site, and a <br /> 2,000-gallon capacity gasoline UST at the central portion of the site (Personal Communication, <br /> Randy Thomas, PSFD) The Stockton Taxi Company has several USTs located in the northeast <br /> • <br />
