Notice to Comply-Corrective Actions
SPCC Plan Inspection
1. Update the inventory and discharge information in the SPCC Plan to accurately represent the
petroleum storage at the facility.
The SPCC Plan has been updated by adding the 160 gallon fuel tank for the emergency
generator and the 150 gallon fuel tank for the air compressor. Also, the 75,000 gallon diesel
storage tank which has been removed from service and "permanently closed" has been deleted
from the plan. See Table 1 attached.
2. Provide a contact list and phone numbers for the facility response coordinator, cleanup
contractors and all appropriate federal, state and local agencies who must be contacted in
case of a discharge.
The Oil Spill Contingency Plan has been updated with the names and phone numbers of all
facility personnel, agencies and contractors to be contacted in an emergency. See Oil Spill
Contingency Plan attached.
3. Begin daily inspections of aboveground tanks and maintain records of such inspections.
Maintain records of monthly tank inspections.
Daily tank inspections are being conducted and documented. Monthly inspections reports are
also completed and maintained on site. See attached inspection reports.
4. Conduct integrity testing of each aboveground container and maintain records on site.
Integrity testing is scheduled for May 24 on all of the aboveground containers which are over
55 gallons, except for the transformers and turbine oil tank. The transformers are oil-filled
electrical equipment and are exempt from the requirement as they do not meet the definition
of a bulk storage container under 40 CFR 112.2. The turbine oil tank is operating equipment
which is also exempt.
