FROM : GETTLER-RYAN INC. PHONE NO. : 916 631 1317 Aug. 31 1999 10:07AM P1
Fax Transmission
To: Mr. Harlen Knoll From: Steve Carter
Company: San Joaquin County PHS/EHD Date:August 31, 1998
Fax #: (209) 468-3433
You should receive 4 page(s) including this one.
If you do not receive all pages, please call (916) 631-1300
Subject: Chevron #9-5775, 301 Kettleman Lane, Lodi, CA
Attached is the updated table summarizing analytical data to date. The only information missing is the TPH
as hydraulic oil result for the sample taken from the hydraulic hoist pit. This result is due today. I will
forward this information to you as soon as I get it from the laboratory.
It is my understanding that Chevron would like to use as much of the stockpiled soil for backfill as is possible.
Soil generated during overexcavation of the gasoline UST pit (stockpile sample SPFT) will be hauled to BFI's
Vasco Road landfill for disposal. Chevron plans to re -use all other stockpiled soil (stockpile samples SP1
through SP10, SPP, and SPW1,2) as backfill. Chevron's contractor Musco Excavating is planning on
performing the backfilling operation on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 1998.
I have received the two forms you faxed to my office. These will be filled out and faxed back to you. A
check for $234.00 from our corporate office in Dublin should be delivered to your office tomorrow via Federal
Express. Please call me if you do not receive the check.
Gettler-Ryan Inc.
