Work Plan For Monitoring Well Installation — Former Chevron Service Station #9-5775, Lodi, CA <br />April 7, 2000 <br />Task 5. Laboratory Analyses <br />Soil and groundwater samples will be submitted for chemical analysis at Sequoia Analytical, a <br />California state -certified Hazardous Material Testing Laboratory (ELAP #1210, #1271, and <br />#1624). Selected soil samples will be analyzed for TPHg, BTEX, and MtBE by DHS LUFT. <br />Detectable concentrations of MtBE by DHS LUFT will be confirmed by EPA Method 8260. <br />Groundwater samples will be analyzed for TPHg, BTEX, and MtBE by DHS LUFT, and the fuel <br />oxygenates MtBE, TBA, DIPE, TAME and ETBE by EPA Method 8260. The sample of the <br />stockpiled drill cuttings will be analyzed for TPHg and BTEX by DHS LUFT, and total lead by <br />EPA 6000/7000 Series Methods. <br />Task 6. Report Preparation <br />Following receipt and analysis of all data, a report will be prepared which summarizes the <br />procedures and findings associated with this investigation. This report will be submitted to <br />Chevron for their use and distribution. <br />PROJECT STAFF <br />Mr. Stephen J. Carter, a Registered Geologist in the State of California (R.G. No. 5577), will provide <br />technical oversight and review of the work. Mr. Greg Gurss, Senior Project Manager, will supervise <br />implementation of field and office operations. GR employs a staff of geologists, engineers, and <br />technicians who will assist with the project. <br />Implementation of the proposed scope of work will commence upon receipt of regulatory approval. <br />346408.09 5 <br />
