RIPON <br />March 25 2015 <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />Remarks <br />CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br />r605 <br />One 55 -gallon container of waste absorbent and one 55 -gallon container of water and fuel mixture had incomplete <br />hazardous waste labels that lacked accumulation start dates. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with <br />the following information: <br />- the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />- name and address of generator <br />- hazardous properties <br />- physical state <br />- composition (contents) <br />- accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since <br />it cannot be determined how long the aforementioned containers have been on site, immediately contact a licensed <br />hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class Il. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by April 24, 2015. <br />According to Jesse Diaz, a new hazardous waste hauler was retained and this facility will start disposing of the oil <br />water separator waste as hazardous waste, which may result in a Large Quantity Generator (LQG) status for this <br />facility. <br />Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br />online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
