Favor Taft <br /> secraftei the responsible parry, contracted with Stratus Envlronmeni Inc. to perform <br /> Envineramot mental work regarding the unauthorized release on Me property. Stratus <br /> presRace completed several phases of investigation on the subject property to investigate the <br /> extent of the fuel contaminant impact to the subsurface. Shems also performed <br /> � I groundwater maniami g antl sampling for several years to assess the Rogers of impact to <br /> shallow groundwater. To clean up the property, Stratus conducted a soil vapor <br /> extraction and air sparge emaciation project, removing an estimated mass Of <br /> µaver Board. approximagely 5,870 pounds of gasoine-related fuel contaminants from the subsurface. <br /> Despite Me cleanup efforts, a localized area where groundwater is impacted with fuel <br /> Regionalgraterouwry contaminants remains in Me ads vicinity (see attached figure). Based on available data <br /> a seems, m trends, it is estimated that remaining groundwater contaminants will afteri to balmy Water Quality Objectives within 20 yeafs. Shahs conduUed a search for water wells <br /> P.E. located near Me groundwater contaminants, and no water wells likely to be threatened <br /> n E. Given the <br /> coalr available information, the peholeum hydrocarbons and fuel oxygenates remaining in the <br /> subsudace at the subject property appear to represent a 'Low Risk' to human healM <br /> and Me environment.
