Condor performed the inspection in general conformance with Steel Tank <br /> Institute(STI) Standard SP001 5t1i Edition- September 2011 Formal External Inspection(FEI). <br /> The subject AST-6 is an elevated, multi-compartment, single-wall steel tank located within a secondary <br /> containment structure.The tank's configuration is consistent with a Category 1 AST and has the following <br /> inspection schedule: <br /> Tank Category Monthly Annual Formal Formal <br /> I,II,or III Inspections* Inspections* External Internal Leak Test <br /> Inspection** Inspection** (Years) <br /> (volume-gallons) (Y/N) (�'/N) (Years) (Years) <br /> 1(8,500 gal) j Y Y j 20 1 - - <br /> *Completed by owner's inspector. **Completed by Certified Inspector. <br /> Visual Observations <br /> • The subject tank,AST-6 has an Underwriters Laboratory(UL)AST identification label. <br /> • The tank was fabricated February 1992 and was manufactured by N.J.McCutchen, Inc. <br /> • The exterior wall of the tank and ancillary piping was inspected and appeared to be in good <br /> condition. <br /> • Visual observations of the tank's exterior shell showed no signs of pitting along the longitudinal <br /> section between the four and eight o'clock positions at the bottom of the tank.The Northwest head <br /> of the tank revealed inconsistent ultrasonic steel thickness measurements that were found to be <br /> inconstant with the original design thickness. <br />
