Condor performed the inspection in general conformance with Steel Tank Institute(STI) Standard SP001 5t1i Edition- September 2011 Formal External Inspection(FEI). Visual Observations • The subject tank,AST-6 has an Underwriters Laboratory(UL)AST identification label. • The tank was fabricated February 1992 and was manufactured by N.J.McCutchen, Inc. • The exterior wall of the tank and ancillary piping was inspected and appeared to be in good condition. • Visual observations of the tank's exterior shell showed no signs of pitting along the longitudinal section between the four and eight o'clock positions at the bottom of the tank.The Northwest head of the tank revealed inconsistent ultrasonic steel thickness measurements that were found to be inconstant with the original design thickness.
