In-Service AST Inspection Report <br /> Formal External Inspection of 10,000 Gallon Tank(AST-7) <br /> Valley Pacific Petroleum Services,Inc. <br /> Page 5 <br /> Suitability for Continued Service <br /> Based on the STI criteria and results of the current inspection, Condor formally approves continued use of <br /> the AST-7. A 20-year formal external inspection schedule is required for a Category 1 tank, is required <br /> following the FEI date. Federal, state and/or local regulations may require more frequent inspections of the <br /> tank. <br /> 4.0 RECORD KEEPING <br /> 1. Tank original manufacturer records, if located, should be retained for the life of the Tank. <br /> 2. Monthly Inspection Checklists should be completed by the owner/operator and retained for a <br /> minimum of 3 years. <br /> 3. Annual Inspection Checklists should be completed by the owner/operator and retained for a <br /> minimum of 3 years. <br /> 4. Certified Inspection Reports should be retained for the life of the AST system. <br /> 5.0 LIMITATIONS <br /> The recommendations stated in this report are based on good engineering practices and industry standards; <br /> however,they are not specific regulatory requirements or requirements for continued service. Tanks should <br /> be clearly labeled with the product stored,capacity of the tank and an National Fire Protection Association <br /> (NFPA)hazard label, as a minimum. Piping should be labeled with the product and flow direction. <br /> Notwithstanding any observation, recommendation, opinion contained in this report, nothing herein shall <br /> be construed as a representation, warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied, regarding the future <br /> structural integrity, life expectancy, or performance of the tank. This report and the analysis provided is in <br /> all respects subject to and shall be interpreted within the limitations and parameters of the test procedures <br /> performed. In the event testing is performed using a sampling procedure,this report and any analysis shall <br /> be limited to those areas actually tested and the type of test conducted,and the customer is cautioned not to <br /> extrapolate the results of the test samples. <br /> This inspection report is not to be construed as an expressed or implied warranty of future performance of <br /> the tank.
