Preface <br /> Throughout this document, 'Customer' or'Client' refers to Valley Pacific Petroleum; and <br /> 'Consultant', 'Engineer' or'NWTLI' refers to NW Tank Lining& Inspection, Inc. <br /> The field observations and research reported herein are considered sufficient in detail and scope to <br /> form a reasonable basis for an in-service evaluation of the referenced tank(s).The methods used to <br /> acquire the information as well as compile and analyze the data are considered current and widely <br /> accepted methods in the industry.These methods have been developed to provide the Client with <br /> information regarding apparent indications of existing or potential conditions relating to the tank(s) and <br /> are limited to the accessibility to the tank(s) and information available at the time of the site visit and <br /> inspection. Conclusions listed in this document may have been based in-part on information provided by <br /> the current facility owner,their agents and/or third parties (including, but not limited to,state and local <br /> authorities); pursuant to this,the accuracy of said information is not guaranteed by NWTLI. <br /> Limitations <br /> Notwithstanding anything contained in this report, nothing herein shall be construed as a <br /> representation, warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied, regarding the future structural <br /> integrity, life expectancy, or performance of any of the items evaluated.This report and the analysis <br /> provided is in all respects subject to and shall be interpreted within the limitations and parameters of <br /> the test procedures performed. In the event testing is performed using a sampling procedure,this <br /> report and any analysis shall be limited to those areas actually tested and the type of test conducted, <br /> and the customer is cautioned not to extrapolate the results of the test samples. <br /> Inspection Procedures <br /> The aboveground storage tank(s)were inspected following the portions of the applicable <br /> procedures contained in the Steel Tank Institute (STI)Standard SP-001(5th Edition) "Standard for <br /> Inspection of Aboveground Storage Tanks". <br /> NWTLI provided the following inspection and testing services on the tank: <br /> 1. Performed the Periodic Inspections (Monthly and Annual) described in the STI Standard. <br /> 2. Visually inspected the outside of the tank in detail.At a minimum,the following tank components <br /> were inspected (where applicable): <br /> a. Primary Tank <br /> b. Tank Supports <br /> c. Tank Anchors <br /> 2 <br />
