I expressed my concern that the container must be sturdy enough to
support the 41000 gallon tanks and 2x500 gallon tanks.
Other agencies with jurisdiction over this project can contact Carl directly at(209)465-9610. I'm available at the
number below. My report and photos are attached to this email.
Thank you,
Garrett Backus,Ld.Sr. REHS,CUPA programs
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
1868 E Hazelton Ave,Stockton,CA 95205
(209)468-2986 (phone) (209) 468-3433 (fax)
gbackus@s cehd.com http://www.sjcehd.com/
From: Vic Solari [mailto:vsolari@sjgov.org]
Sent: Wednesday, December 17, 2014 10:21 AM
To: Garrett Backus [EH]
Cc: Linda Turkatte [EH]; Doug Hensel; cfarano(asjgov.orq
Subject: Bullfrog Marina?
Dear Mr. Backus,
Is it possible to get an update on the status of the fuel tank secondary containment issue at Bullfrog Marina at
17251 W. Bacon Island Rd? Chuck Farano and I spoke to Sam Sharideh in Public Works Flood Control. He
suggested that before the property owner(s) move forward they should contact the Local Reclamation District,
the Army Corp of Engineers, and possibly California Fish and Wildlife, and any other governmental agency
which may have jurisdiction relating to this issue.
Thank you.
Vic Solari
Fire Services Coordinator
i
