As you are aware, we have removed fue,'1 tanks from our yard
at 802 N. Cluff Avenue, Lodi, Ca. (Permit #CAC000 272. 665!
4/19/90) . After having removed these!,, tanks it was found, the
soil. around these tanks was contaminated with diesel.
We now have a hole with contaminated material still in itas
well as stockpiled contaminated material around the hole."
Frank C. Alegre owns a 33 acre site at 4988 E. Hwy 12 . We
would like permission from the Countylito remove the contain
inated material from the hole and surrounding area to our
property at 4988 E Hwy. 12. .
In accordance with County standards we would lay down plastic
and cover with 6" of clay. We would then air_ the contaminated
material subject to your inspection.
After removal of, the balance of the contaminated material
will run a new soil test of the site. ',':, Upon receiving a clean
soil test we will fill the hole with clean material.
We now have over 100 employees in and ',around our yard at 802
N. Cluff. It is our belief there would be less hazard for
all concerned if the material was moved to air at the 33 acre
site.. I would also be more comfortable with my employees .
safety if the hole in our terminal site were refilled.
Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.
C
Sincerely,
 Gn
F Ink .
