Remove all liquid and sludge from each container and connecting line: Completed <br /> 2. Disconnect and blank off all connecting lines and piping have from the tank: Completed <br /> 3. Close and lock all valves: Completed <br /> 4. Post a sign conspicuously stating that it is a permanently closed container and denoting the <br /> date of closure: Completed <br /> 5. Immediately"Permanently Close" all tanks that are not being used or amend the Spill <br /> Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plan to include all petroleum tanks that have not <br /> been permanently closed. Completed <br /> Item#301: CFR 112.5(a) Failed to amend Plan as necessary. <br /> Summary of Violation: <br /> • The SPCC plan describes the waste oil tank as having a capacity of 240 gallons. A plaque on <br /> the waste oil tank identifies the tank as having a 360 gallon capacity. <br /> • Oil filled operational equipment (portable generators) with a potential capacity of 55 gallons <br /> or over for the diesel tank are being stored at the facility and are not in the SPCC plan. <br /> • The Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan must be amended when <br /> there is a change in the facility design, construction, operation, or maintenance that <br /> materially affects its potential for a discharge, within 6 months of the change, and <br /> implemented as soon as possible, not later than 6 months following preparation of the <br /> amendment. Immediately make all necessary amendments to the SPCC Plan to accurately <br /> represent the procedures and policies currently in place at the facility. <br /> • This is a minor violation. <br /> Page 2 of 6 <br />
