Jam. .v
Based on the results of the technical review, and the simple one dimensional modeling,
SECOR will develop conclusions and/or recommendations relative to the potential threat to
groundwater quality at the Site. We believe this approach to responding to PHS/EHD s
concerns for "risk to groundwater" is cost-effective since it does not require the performance
and evaluation of aquifer tests.
Modeling activities are anticipated to be completed within two weeks following receipt of
laboratory reports on soils and submitted for testing.
Prepare Letter Re
Task 3: Prep ort of Results p
SECOR will prepare a brief Letter Report which describes the results of the fate and transport '
modeling. Copies of the model description and each simulation event will also be provided.
The Report will include conclusions regarding potential risks!to groundwater quality. The
Report will include laboratory reports copies of chain of custody for all soil samples
submitted for evaluation/testing.
i
SCHEDULE '
l
As stated previously, TVG will advise SECOR and PHS/EHD at least two days prior to
initiating soil removal actions, for staff scheduling purposes. We anticipate the Letter Report
of Results will be available within eight weeks following"°the initial collection of soil
t samples.
1
{
I
I
I
ii
1
PROInI 132p.pro-511195
