Box 2009
Stockton,CA 95201
Re: Custom Food Machinery Subsurface Investigation
Dear Ms. Turkatte,
Enclosed is the revised workplan and permit application for the soil boring to be
done at Custom Food Machinery site in Stockton. We have revised the workplan
to use a hollow stem auger to conduct the soil boring. A registered geologist will
supervise the work to be perform and the report will also be signed by a
registered geologist. We propose to conduct the soil boring, with your approval,
on May 3 or 4. A report should be available within 3 weeks of the soil sampling.
The monitoring well that was formerly on the property has been abandoned. The
well was originally installed by Beta and Associates. After the work was
completed they abandoned the well. Previous data indicated that the water
sampled for the well was ND for BTEX. This data was previously submitted by
TVG. A copy is attached for your reference.
If you have any questions or require further information, please contact me at
209-862-1077 or 209-862-1078 (fax)
Sincerely,
Thomas J.
