�irn <br />A S S O C I A T E S I N C <br />1 1.0 <br />INTRODUCTION <br />Closure Report <br />Ripon Unified School District <br />304 North Acacia Avenue <br />Ripon, California <br />ATC Project No 54 13099 0001 <br />ATC Associates Inc has prepared this report on behalf of Ripon Unified School District to <br />present the information required for site closure review for the property located at 304 North <br />Acacia Avenue, Ripon, California (Figure 1) This report is being submitted to the San Joaquin <br />County Environmental Health Division (SJCEHD) and the California Regional Water Quality <br />Control Board, Central Valley Region (RWQCB) to satisfy the No Further Action (NFA) <br />' requirements, as outlined by CRWQCB (Appendix B of the Tri -Regional Recommendations) A <br />completed checklist of data required for closure consideration is included as Appendix A <br />2.0 QUARTERLY MONITORING ACTIVITIES <br />2.1 Groundwater Sampling and Analysis <br />' 2.1.1 Fourth Quarter 2001 Monitoring Activities <br />' Fluid Ievels were taken on October 10, 2001, utilizing an electronic water probe capable of <br />measuring with an accuracy of 11100 of a foot On October 10, 2001, groundwater samples were <br />collected from wells MW I through MW5 The samples were collected after purging a minimum of <br />three well volumes and stabilization of electric conductivity, pH, and temperature Field purge logs <br />are presented in Appendix B Subsequent to purging, groundwater was sampled and transferred to <br />appropriate sample containers, using clean, disposable bailers with bottom emptying devices to <br />reduce volatilization <br />The groundwater samples collected from each well were submitted to State -certified Argon <br />Laboratories, Inc (ELAP Cert No 2359) for chemical analysis of TPHg and TPHd utilizing <br />EPA method 8015 modified, BTEX utilizing EPA method 8020, and MTBE, ethyl tertiary butyl <br />ether (ETBE), di -isopropyl ether (DIPE), tertiary amyl ether (TAME), and tertiary butyl alcohol <br />(TBA) by EPA method 8260 <br />2.1.2 Second Quarter 2002 Monitoring Activities <br />Fluid levels were taken on April 12, 2002, utilizing an electronic water probe capable of measuring <br />with an accuracy of 11100 of a foot On April 12, 2002, groundwater samples were collected from <br />w \1309%reportslclosure doc 1 <br />
