Box 2009 <br /> Stocktoxi, California 95201 <br /> RE: Over excavation and soil sampling at 4579 Acampo Road, <br /> Acampo, California. <br /> SHN Project No . 92-3002 <br /> Dear Mr . rollins: <br /> In accordance with our telephone conversation of December 2 , <br /> 1992, we have compiled a summary of work and analytical results <br /> performed on december 1 , 1992 at the above referenced location: <br /> 1 . Over excavation of an open tank excavation was conducted to <br /> determine the verti.Cal extent of possible hydrocarbon <br /> contamination. The excavation was observed by a qualified SHN <br /> Environmental Specialist who monitored the excavated soil with <br /> PID and TLV meters . Soil from the excavation which did not <br /> register any reading on the meters was separated from sails which <br /> did register readings . Compobite soil samples from the clear <br /> stockpiles were analyzed for TPH-G and BTEX; the samples were <br /> non-elect for all c osis t_y tuents <br /> I <br /> 2 . Soil from the excavation which indicted readings of <br /> hydrocarbons from the meters were placed on visqueen, Covered and <br /> left fox futuLe remedi.ataoa. <br /> 3 , Four soil samples were coltected from in-place soils within <br /> the excavation.
