f
CHRONOLOGY l;.
3330 N. AD ART ROAD, STOCKTON
03/25/99 California Highway Patrol wanted to continue using their single
Walled fiberglass underground storage'tank (UST). San Joaquin
County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division
(PHSIEHD) required that soil borings with soil sample collection be
performed to show that an unauthorized release of petroleum had
not occurred. On this date four soil borings were drilled around the
UST and samples were collected at 25feet below surface grade.
f Low levels of MTBE were found in two`'of the soil samples.
05/25/00 The UST was removed and soil samples were collected beneath
a the piping and dispenser portions of the UST system. There was a
cement slab beneath the UST so soil samples were not collected
directly beneath the UST. The samples beneath the piping and
dispenser were non-detect for contaminants of concern.
;I
6120121 Four soil borings were drilled to groundwater. Eight soil samples
and four groundwater samples were collected. All samples were
non-detect for contaminants of concern.
12/08/00 URS Greiner Woodward Clyde report of 6120-21100 work and
request for closure.
12/26/00 PHSIEHD concurs with closure request.
I
r
'I4
4 ,
f
