Soil Vapor Investigation Work Plan <br /> RALPH'S SQUARE <br /> 2122 South Airport Way, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr. Ralph Lee White and Peter Bui, Advanced GeoEnviron mental, Inc. <br /> has prepared this Soil Vapor Investigation Work Plan for the property located at 2122 <br /> South Airport Way, Stockton, California (site). The work plan proposes the installation of <br /> nine semi-permanent soil-vapor wells for collection of soil vapor samples and the <br /> advancement of two additional borings for collection of soil samples to evaluate the bio- <br /> attenuation zone at the site. This work plan was prepared in accordance with California <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board - Central Coast Region, DRAFT — Cleanup and <br /> Abatement Order R5-2014-XXXX (Appendix A). <br /> This work plan is prepared in accordance with the California Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board — Central Valley Region (Regional Board) guidelines for the subsurface <br /> investigation of UST sites. The location of the site and the surrounding area are <br /> illustrated in Figure 1. Site structures and monitoring well locations are illustrated in <br /> Figure 2. Historical site background information is included in Appendix B. <br /> 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> AGE proposes to advance a nine soil borings for the installation of semi-permanent <br /> vapor wells for soil vapor sample collection and a total of two soil borings within the <br /> former tank pit area to evaluate the bio-attenuation zone. The scope of work will include <br /> the following tasks: <br /> • Permitting and pre-field work activities; <br /> • Soil-vapor well installations; <br /> • Soil boring advancement and soil sample collection; <br /> • Soil vapor sample collection and analysis; and <br /> • Report preparation <br /> 2.1. PERMITTING AND PRE-FIELD WORK TASKS <br /> Applicable site boring/well permits will be obtained from the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department prior to performing the proposed scope of work. In <br /> addition, an update to the health and safety plan presently on-file will be prepared in <br /> accordance with Occupational and Health Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental Inc. <br />
