PHASE II INSTALLATION OF MW-2 <br /> AND MW-3. <br /> Dear Mr. DeSelm: <br /> In accordance with our contract between Environmental Science <br /> and Engineering, Inc, (ESE) and Rainbo Baking Company, ESE is <br /> pleagsd to provide this report documenting the results of the <br /> abov,. referenced project. <br /> The report incorporates a description of t•he facility and <br /> regional environmental setting from the previous Contamination <br /> Assessment Plan, and provides a summary of field investigation <br /> results from both the Phase I and this Phase II investigation. <br /> Briefly, benzene, toluene, xylene, and total hydrocarbon <br /> levels of 6.8, 17, 4. 1 and 78 mg/L respectively were detected <br /> in the ground water sample collected from MW-1 . Organics were <br /> not detected at levels exceeding the detection limit at either <br /> MW-2 or MW-3 . With the exception of orke soil sample, <br /> collected at a depth of 55 feet below ground surface (MW-1 ) <br /> and samples collected at the 30 and 35 ft depth interval at <br /> MW-2, the soils were typs.cally free of hydrocarbons, although <br /> low level, G�, lead were noted in most soil samples. <br /> Should you require additional information, please do not <br /> hesitate to call me at the number below.
