- ifw S <br />•nuc"s <br /> MW <br /> - r <br /> 4.5 GROUNDWATER ELEVATIONS <br /> Groundwater levels were measured on September 8, 1987, and <br /> converted to (relative ) elevEtion after surveying. Because <br /> the gradient was very nearly flat, the wells were resurveyed <br /> and groundwater levels re-measured during the week of October <br /> 12, 1987. The results of that survey are presented in Table <br /> 4-8. Assuming that the relative elevations represent the <br /> surface of a common plane, a groundwater gradient of 0 . 028 to <br /> the (approximate) northwest is indicated. The three-point <br /> problem calculations are presented in the Appendix.. The <br /> gradient of the shallow ground water corresponds approximately <br /> to the northwest trending topographic depression noted on the <br /> north side of the building. <br /> 4-17 <br />
