2651 South Airport Way, Stockton, CA Page 4 of 6
traffic.
However, we do not want to repair the vaults until the two sumps/separators have
been removed, since they would likely be re -damaged.
ETIC is working on the work plan to remove the sumps.
Sara Lee has told us that they believe the two units are actually sumps and not
separators.
We are trying to research this.
Tom and 1 went to the site in February and re -measured most of the wells to
investigate the PZ -2 / SP -1 anomaly.
I am having the AutoCAD base map revised according to our measurements.
It appears that the locations for PZ -2 and SP -1 have been switched.
Once the revised map is completed and we get some more information on whether the
two units are sumps or separators, we can complete the work plan.
Once the excavation is completed, we will have the wells and other pertinent areas re-
surveyed.
L
Thank you,
Paul Anderson
PSC -QA Director
210 West Sand Bank Road
Columbia, IL 62236
Office 618-281-1543
Cell 618-406-0823
Fax 618-281-7020
panderson@p§icnow.com
From: Vicki McCartney [EH] [mailto:vmccartney@sjcehd.com]
Sent: Wednesday, April 12, 2006 4:58 PM
To: Anderson, Paul
Subject: RE: 2651 South Airport Way, Stockton, CA
Paul:
Thank you for the quick response to my e-mail.
I did, speak to Tom Neely yesterday and Tom told me about the possible mix-up
between PZ -2 and SP -1. Tom also said that groundwater samples will continue to be
analyzed quarterly for MTBE, TAME, TBA, ETBE, and DIPE since some of these
analytes have been detected during recent sampling events.
I have two questions: Have the wells been surveyed yet? When do you plan to submit
a work plan to remove the two separators?
1 have corrected your e-mail address.
