The pilot test is tentatively
scheduled to be initiated on October 25, 1994. The test should take about 3 days to
complete.
As you requested, potential hydrocarbon vapors emitted during the extraction process
will be treated with activated carbon. The two 200 -pound carbon canisters, used in
series, will be more than adequate to handle the anticipated flow rate of less than 100
cubic feet per minute. Hydrocarbon vapor effluent will be monitored throughout the
test for indications of breakthrough.
You will be notified if our pilot test schedule changes. If you have additional comments
or questions, please call the at (618) 281-7173.
Sincerely yours,
BURLINGTON ENVIRONMENTAL INC.
Mark F.
