1 <br /> 16, 1995 FIRST QUARTER <br />' GROUNDWATER MONITORING REPORT <br /> 7759 S. AIRPORT WAY <br /> STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br /> 1 <br /> 1.0 PURODUCTION <br />' On March 17, 1995, Roy F. Weston, Inc (WESTON®) completed the first quarter of <br /> groundwater monitoring at the San Joaquin County Mosquito and Vector Control District facility <br /> located at 7759 S Airport Way in Stockton, California (Figure 1). The purpose of this sampling <br /> event was to monitor for the presence of petroleum hydrocarbons in groundwater beneath the <br /> location of two former underground storage tanks (USTs) which were removed in 1987 <br /> 2.0 FIELD SAMPLING SUMMARY <br /> Three monitor wells are located at the facility as shown in Figure 2 These wells were <br /> originally installed as part of a groundwater investigation program, which was completed during <br />' August 1994 All three monitor wells were screened in the shallow unconfined aquifer beneath <br /> the site <br /> The groundwater sampling program included measuring the water level depth in each well, <br /> measuring groundwater physical characteristics and collecting groundwater samples for <br /> laboratory analysis. Upon arrival at the site, depth to groundwater was measured in each well <br /> relative to a marked survey point. During the purge of each well, measurements of temperature, <br /> pH and electrical conductivity were taken after each purged well volume <br />' All three monitor wells on site were sampled after purging a minimum of three well volumes <br /> Groundwater samples were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TPH-D) and <br /> benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes (BTEX) A detailed description of the field <br />' activities is presented in the Field Report presented in Appendix A. <br /> 1 <br />' LIPROJEC S1SANJ0QITMAD4ST QTR 1 21 April 1995 <br />
