Hi Devra,
I have the following comments on the FSP Addendum:
Sensitive Receptor Survey: Include San Joaquin County Environmental Health in the
proposed review of well records.
Soil Gas Sampling: Follow the 2003 DTSC/Los Angeles RWQCB "Advisory - Active Soil Gas
Investigation" and DTSC's "Guidance for the Evaluation and Mitigation of Subsurface Vapor
Intrusion to Indoor Air" (2004). We are concerned about short-circuiting to surface, so
please collect the samples at 6 to 8 feet bgs rather than 5 feet bgs. The borehole needs
to be properly sealed per the guidance to avoid short-circuiting. Purging, sample
collection, leak testing, analysis ...etc. also needs to follow DTSC guidance.
Thanks
Marcus L.
