(Versar) is pleased to present this work plan for performing the Preliminary Assessment / Site <br />Investigation Update (PA/SI Update) for the subject California Army National Guard (CARNG) facility <br />(Site). Comments received from CARNG and the Sacramento District Corps of Engineers (SD-COE), <br />solicited with the draft work plan, dated July 8, 2002, were incorporated into this document. This work <br />plan addresses the remaining environmental issues at the Operation and Maintenance Shop (OMS), <br />Combined Support and Maintenance Shop (CSMS), and the Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF) <br />identified and initially investigated by Versar, on behalf of the CARNG, in March 2000. Copies of the <br />work plan have been provided to the Regional Water Quality Control Board for their review, and to the <br />San Joaquin County Health Department for their files. <br />Versar appreciates this opportunity to provide services to the SD-COE on behalf of the California Army <br />National Guard.
