Hello Belinda,
On 02 September 2014, the San Joaquin CountEnvironmental Health Department (EHD)
received "Soil Excavation Summary Report, Lifornia Army National Guard, Combined Support
Maintenance Shop, 8020 S. Airport Way, Sto ] ton, California 95206" (Report) , dated 27
August 2014, submitted by your consulting farm, Environmental Cost Management, Inc. on
your behalf. I have reviewed the Report aii except for the two submitted manifests, I
have found no problems with the informatio provided in the Report. Both of the manifests
that were included in the Report have not bEen signed by the owner/operator of the
facility that received the waste. The EHD will not issue the "No Further Action" letter
until the EHD has received the manifests sicned and dated by the facility owner/operator
who received the waste generated at 8020 South Airport Way in Stockton, California.
Your assistance is appreciated in this mat r.
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209) 468-9852
Email: vmccartney@sjcehd.com
-----Original Message-----
From: May, Belinda A LTC USARMY NG CAARNG ( S) [mailto:belinda.a.may.mil@mail.mil]
Sent: Sunday, August 03, 2014 8:48 AM
To: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Subject: Status: Report for Cleanup of JP- 3 Spill @ Stockton CSMS (UNCLASSIFIED)
Classification: UNCLASSIFIED
Caveats: NONE
Good day, Vicki,
I apologize for the delay in submitting th CSMS cleanup report to you (SJCDEH) . The delay
is a result of having to wait for our hazes to disposal contractor to return to the CSMS
to remove the excavated soil (waste) , and ovide a waste manifest for the report. First
we had to get approval from DLA--Defense L istics Agency (we are required to use their
contractor) for the waste pickup. A request was made last month. They may have been very
busy in Jul. We expect to get a confirmed pickup date soon.
We're working to complete the spill cleanup report ASAP. Thank you for your patience.
Belinda May, LTC
Environmental Compliance Officer
belinda.a.may.mil@mail.mil
COMM: 916-369-4375
FAX: 916-361-3438
-----Original Message-----
From: Vicki McCartney [EH] [mailto:vmccart y@sjcehd.com]
Sent: Friday, June 20, 2014 7:49 AM
To: May, Belinda A LTC USARMY NG CAARNG (U
Subject: RE: Voluntary Cleanup of JP-8 SpiLl @ Stockton CSMS (UNCLASSIFIED)
Belinda,
Thank you for this update.
