The County Assessors records indicate that a former above ground diesel storage tank and an underground gasoline tank were located on this property near the northeast corner of the former dairy barn. An interview with the owner of the Property indicated that the fuel storage tanks were removed years ago and that no soil samples were collected at that time. 4. It is recommended that the soil under the area where these tanks were located should be tested for petroleum fuel compounds. APN: 198-03-04 (AKA 14253 S. Airport Way, also 14251, 14318 & 14323) 1. 19.06 acres west of Airport Way 2. This parcel contains the following facilities: • the Suprema Specialties West (Suprema) • a truck scales • the Billy Wong truck repair facility • a wastewater treatment system for Suprema's process wastewater 3. A truck scale is located in the northeast portion of the Parcel along the driveway into the Property. An interview with the owner revealed that a former underground tank was located under the current truck scale facility. 4. A truck repair facility (owned by Billy Wong) is located along the north boundary of the parcel. Some spillage of motor oil has occurred in and around the opening of the shop. The shop has a concrete floor and the area out front of the shop entrance is asphalt for some distance. However, some oil and wastewater has run off the asphalt and stained the soil to the west of the shop. 5. It is recommended that the soil under the area where these tanks were located should be tested for petroleum fuel compounds. 1.2 Scope of Work The scope of work performed during this investigation is outlined below: Former Underground Storage Tank ■ Drilled four GeoProbe boreholes to a depth of 15 to 20 feet below ground surface and collected samples from the area around the former USTs. Two boreholes were drilled around the former USTs on APN-198-03-03 and two boreholes were drilled around the former USTs on APN-198-03-04. ■ Collected soil samples at 5-foot intervals. ■ Submit one soil sample per borehole to Sherwood labs and test samples for TPH-G, BTEX, & TEPH-D,MO. Truckin Facility acility ■ Drilled two GeoProbe boreholes to a depth of 10 feet below ground surface and collected soil samples from the area in front of the shop. ■ Collected soil samples at 1.5, 3, 5 & 10 feet below ground surface. Screened for evidence of soil contamination. ■ Submitted one soil sample per borehole to Sherwood labs and test samples for TPH- G, BTEX, TEPH-D, MO, Solvents, &the five LUFT metals (cd, cr,pd,ni, zi). Production Well Water Sampling & Testing ■ Collected a water sample from the production water well that Suprema uses and submitted it to BSK Laboratory.
