Ms. Mary Serra • • <br /> August 19,2002 <br /> Page 5 <br /> Site Restoration <br /> Access roads, removed fence sections and other disturbed areas will be restored to pre- <br /> construction conditions. Following the completion of all grading and site restoration activities, <br /> construction related vehicles,equipment,materials and,personnel will demobilize from the <br /> area. <br /> Health and Safety <br /> All field personnel shall have 40-hour Health and Safety Training in accordance with OSHA 29 <br /> CFR 1910.120,annual refresher training, and medical monitoring. Perimeter "fence-line'air <br /> monitoring during the project will be performed. All site personnel,including visitors, <br /> expected to be working in or around the excavation will be asked to provide evidence of <br /> equivalent training. <br /> The excavation operations will be performed using modified level D protection,with long- <br /> sleeved cloth coveralls,steeled toe/steeled shank work boots,eye protection,hard hats,and <br /> work gloves. Traffic vests and hearing protection will be worn as needed. Workers exposed to <br /> saturated sediments will add water protective construction gear(e.g.,waders,polytyvek and <br /> water protective work gloves). Excavation work will comply with the Site Specific Health& <br /> Safety Plan including,but not limited to,Cal-OSHA Regulations for excavation,based on soil <br /> conditions and the presence of water. <br /> Deliverables <br /> At the completion of the excavation activities,a Site Completion Report will be prepared and <br /> submitted to the CVRWQCB.
