While
appropriate hearing protection requirements (see Section 6.2) are enforced in all work areas, the Earth
Tech Health and Safety Department may conduct supplemental monitoring to verify the adequacy of this
LM guidance for the unique conditions of this project.
hslprojsuplcominachasp.doc 7-2 02/09/98
LN
RESPONSE LEVEL
La
LOCATION AND INTERVAL
(above background)
RESPONSE
Continue work in required
< 5 units
PPE and continue monitoring.
Monitor for benzene.
5 — 15 units
Continue work in required
y
(Sustained for more
PPE unless benzene is present,
than 5 minutes)
and continue monitoring.
VOCs
Breathing Zone, every 15 minutes
Monitor for benzene using
(Total by PID)
during intrusive activities
15 — 50 units
Draeger tubes.
