NATIONAL ADVERTISING COM1IPANF — ADDITIONAL SUBSURFACE INVESTIGATION HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN <br />1. Place tools, instruments, samples and trash at an appropriate location. The equipment drop <br />area should be clean and dry and,at a minimum, plastic bags should<be available for trash. <br />Waste PPE will not be placed in the same containers as general trash. <br />2. Inspect equipment, samples, and if applicable, tools for signs of residual amounts of <br />contamination or excessive soil buildup. If present, soils and contamination must be <br />completely cleaned off of equipment, samples, and tools prior to removal from the exclusion <br />w zone areas. <br />3. Personnel will visually check themselves for signs of excessive soils and possible <br />contamination. If observed, soils and contamination will be completely removed before <br />further decontamination is performed. <br />4. Wash and 'rinse outer work gloves and boots (boot covers) with soap and water. <br />5. Wash/brush off outer protective coverall (TyvekTM) <br />6. Untape wrists and ankles. <br />7. Remove outer work gloves and place them in an appropriate container 'specified for waste <br />PPE. <br />8. Remove outer TyvekTM coveralls and place them in an .appropriate container specified for <br />waste PPE. <br />9. Wash, rinse, and remove inner protective gloves and place them in an appropriate container <br />specified for waste PPE. <br />10. Wash hands using soap and water (separate from other decontamination cleaners/solutions). <br />9.2.3 Level C Personnel Decontamination <br />Personnel involved in Site Activities which require the use of Level C PPE will'observe the following <br />decontamination guidelines: <br />1.
