Guidelines for Service
- Station Layout
using Dualoy 3000/1- fiberglass
piping systems
Introduction Adhere to the methods illustrated in the following photographs when installing Dualoy
3000/1- buried fuel handling piping systems.
Petroleum piping
• Maintain a minimum 6'/2" distance between
parallel lines and between the trench side
wall and the piping. • Piping runs must be
straight. • Use Phil- Tite styrofoam pipe
spacers to support the pipe. • Maintain a
minimum 2'h" vertical clearance between
lines at crossovers. • Keep the trench
bottom clean and free from debris.
• Remove the surface gloss by light sanding
to a uniform length at the ends of each piece
of containment pipe before installing the
containment fittings. • Uniform gloss
removal makes it easier to determine that the
containment pipe is inserted to a constant
N inch depth in the containment fittings.
UUnderwriters
LLaboratories Inc.®
Iso -soon
e
CEFITIFICATED FlRM
FP626 (7/95)
