The two cracks were approxiniately l 1i. lottg in lite verti-ul direction and <br />Centered ncar tate springline, Further irLspection of the .remaining surface area of the l rim;iry tank <br />indicated no other crack formations. These cracks are the result oi' buckling of the primary dome <br />due to press -urination of the annular space. A pressure test was perfonned oa the secondary tank <br />tar a period of one hour and showcd no leakage. I he i7ollowing is the recommended repair proccxlure. <br />I . In the knuckle region of the South dome ofthe primary shell. apply 12 in, bond co!lsistint <br />of thrue layers of mat and two havers of wov'c:n rovin(l). All in. -A shall he 1.5 oz. we;ght <br />and woven roving ,hall he 24 riz. weight. <br />
