Yes No comment Empty Containers 66261.7 Except as provided in 25143.2(d) (5) , 66264.1(g) (4) , 66265.1(d) (8) , 66262.70, and 66261.7(d) , (e) , and (f) , does the generator handle containers, or inner liners removed from containers, which are empty as defined in 66261.7(b) * as a hazardous waste unless managed pursuant to 66261.7(x) (see below)? [66261.7(a) ] * 66261.7(b) says that a container, or inner liner removed from a container, which previously held a hazardous material is empty if it meets the following criteria: (1) The container, or inner liner removed from a container is empty as defined in 40 CFR 261.7(b) , and, (2) The container or the inner liner removed from a container has been emptied by the generator as match as passible using carrmn methods, so that: (A) If the material previously held is pourable, no material can be poured or drained from the container or liner when held in any orientation, or (B) If the material previously held is not pourable, no material or waste remains that can be feasibly removed by scraping and chipping. Does the generator handle empty containers or inner liners removed from a container which previously held a hazardous material by: [66261.7(x)-] (1) For containers or inner liners of five gals. or less, by destroying to prevent reuse and disposing of it at a solid waste facility?, or (2) For any container or liner, by destroying to prevent further use, and reclaiming its scrap value?, or (3) For any container or liner, by reconditioning or remanufacturing the container or liner on-site pursuant to 49 CFR 173.28 for reuse, or shipping it to a person who does so? Does the generator handle the following containers as HW: (66261.7(f)-] (1) containers made of wood, paper, cardboard, fabric, or other absorptive material if in direct contact with a hazardous material? —/ (2) Spent aerosol containers?
