• Open staff room with constant activity and interaction with cross-functional divisions, <br /> departments, and sections. Must be able to effectively change tasks at a moment's <br /> notice when the situation requires. <br /> • Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. <br /> Work is performed indoors with some potential for exposure to safety and health <br /> hazards related to electronics work. May periodically travel to satellite sites. <br /> • Some dust,noise, oils,greases, grinding debris, compressed air,metal shavings, <br /> propane, solvents and occasional heavy lifting. <br /> • Exposed to potential accidents of an incapacitating and or fatal nature. <br /> • Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust,vapors, odors,fumes, coolant, oils, <br /> hazardous materials and waste. The performance of this position normally requires <br /> exposure to a typical manufacturing areas were under certain conditions that require <br /> the use of personal protective equipment such as Safety Glasses with Side Shields and <br /> mandatory hearing protection.Primary environment: Temperature of work area may <br /> be affected by outside temperatures and machining. Industrial lighting provided. <br /> PHYSICAL DEMANDS I REQUIREMENTS: <br /> The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an <br /> employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
