SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) ROUTINE HAZARDOUS WASTE GENERATOR INSPECTION Notice to Comply - Minor violations: (305, 701, 809, 812) 305. Annual maintenance for the fire extinguishers was last conducted on February 24, 2010. All facility communications, alarm systems, fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of emergency. Immediately have all necessary inspections and service completed for all fire extinguishing equipment at this facility, and ensure proper maintenance is conducted in the future. 701. A 30 gallon black steel drum of used absorbent was observed with an accumulation start date of January 25, 2011. A 15 gallon black steel drum of brake fluid was observed with an accumulation start date of November 16, 2010. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of these wastes under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by November 20, 2011. 809. A 5 gallon bucket of universal waste batteries was observed with an accumulation start date of March 10, 2010. A generator of universal waste (batteries, mercury containing equipment, lamps/bulbs, electronic devices, CRTs/CRT glass, aerosol cans) shall accumulate universal waste for no longer than one year from the date the waste was generated. Immediately dispose of this waste as universal waste and submit a copy of the disposal record to the EHD by November 20 2011. ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE.
