STOCKTON DEPT: FERROUS & NON FERR. <br />DATE OF MEETING: June 20. 2007 <br />TIME: 6:30 am <br />NAME OF ATTENDEES: (PLEASE SEE ATTACHED SHEET) <br />Our Safety Tneeting was opened by Arntandu Salgado; last month's meeting on spill response was touched <br />upon. Armando brought up our latest inspection by the Environmental Health Dept. on +6/4/07; which we <br />received a violation for improper labeling of drams. Armando retrained all employees on the correct <br />procedures for the labeling of our drums again! This month's Topic was on safety around baler's and <br />cnnveyors. All present saw a video on "Working Safe and Smart around Balers." Open discussion was held! <br />1. Proper procedures for stacking baled material. <br />2. Emergency stop preparedness. <br />3. Caution and inspection of material when loading the conveyor belt and charging box. <br />4. Be sure to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times. <br />5. Lock-untlTag-out Procedures.
