Hi flay,
I have a question for you on Violation#25:
CCT, Section 662.23 (a) (4) -Generator manifest copies not sent to the Department within
30 days.
Upon inspecting this facilities records and DTSC's hazardous waste tracking system,
generator manifest copies have not sent to DTSC within 30 days. Provide documentation
that the generator copies have been sent to DTSC for all of the manifests generated at this
facility. Correct by 07101109. Class lI Violation:
My understanding on the violation#25, was we have failed to present to you whether we are sending the
Generator's initial copies of the manifest within 30 days to DTSC from the pickup date. After speaking with
Fremouw Environmental, confirmed that they have been doing this for us, mailing generator's initial copies
to DTSC. Fremouw is also willing to confirm and write a letter to us to comply with #25 violations that they
have been submitting manifests to DTSC on behalf of Central Spring.
1. Is a letter from Fremouw Environmental Services regarding the mailing to DTSC would be
good enough correspondence to violation#25? If Not,
2. Do we make copies of all Generator's initial manifest and send them all to DTSC for
proper compliance and correction?
3. Would it be ok to submit Generator's initial copy(ies)if manifest(s)does not have an initial
on the bottom, but we have a returned copy(ies of —"Designated Facility to Generator:
4.
Please let me know as soon as you can.
Thanks,
Evelyn Peregriino
Accounting
Central Spring Inc.
1616 Boeing Way
Stockton, CA 95206
Phone#: 209-983-1234
Fax#209-983-1235
6/10/2009
