Cardinal, Stockton Program: HW <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> (3) a written description of the type and amount of both introductory and continuing training that will <br /> be given to each person filling a position listed under subsection (d)(1) of this section; <br /> (4) records that document that the training or job experience required under subsections (a), (b), and <br /> (c) of this section has been given to, and completed by, facility personnel. <br /> (a) Training records on current personnel shall be kept until closure of the facility. Training records on <br /> former employees shall be kept for at least three years from the date the employee last worked at the <br /> facility. Personnel training records may accompany personnel transferred within the same company. <br /> Begin conducting training and maintaining records per this section. Submit a copy of your training <br /> records and document to EHD by August 27, 2011. <br /> 84. No 2009 disposal record for Universal Waste (UW) fluorescent lamps; facility stated the 2009 waste <br /> lamps were stored over 1 year and were disposed in 2010. <br /> Universal Waste, including but not limited to lamps, alkaline batteries, mercury containing switches, <br /> CRT, not empty aerosol cans, and electronic devices shall be stored on site no longer than 1 year. <br /> Begin managing all universal wastes within 1 year of storage, and retain a copy of the disposal receipt <br /> for at least 3 years on site. <br /> NOTES (The following are not violations) <br /> The facility generated 18.7775 tons (37,555 pounds) hazardous waste in 2010. Facility is an agricultural <br /> trucking operation that generates hazardous wastes from truck maintenance. <br /> -- Facility has an on-site 3-stage clarifier for a truck-wash that goes to an evaporation pond. In 2010 the <br /> liquid from the clarifier was disposed under hazardous waste manifest, but was not disposed as <br /> hazardous waste in 2009 or 2011. Previous analytical results from 2003 indicated the liquid to be non- <br /> hazardous. Please be aware that as a generator you are responsible for making a hazardous waste <br /> determination of each waste and manage it in accordance to that determination. <br /> 79. One box of universal waste fluorescent lamps were not closed and has no accumulation start date. <br /> Universal Wastes shall be stored in a closed container that prevents breakage and release to the <br /> environment and marked with date of accumulation. Discrepancy was corrected on site. <br /> A copy of Auto Repair Management Practice factsheet, CUPA class schedule, blank hazardous waste <br /> labels, hazardous waste labeling factsheet, tank assessment fact sheet has been provided.
