Used oil filters shall be drained of <br /> free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil filters,"and marked with an <br /> accumulation start date. Immediately secure the drum to prevent any oil from leaking into it, label the drum"drained <br /> used oil filters,"and add the accumulation start date. Ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. The EHD has written the <br /> complete report which replaces the initial checklist. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, within 30 days of receiving the complete inspection report. <br /> Waste streams: used oil, oil saturated absorbent, used antifreeze, used oil filters. <br /> Copy of EHD classes, hazardous waste labels and a small business hazardous waste pamphlet was given to <br /> owner. <br /> Note: Linda Allen owns the business and Salvador Castillo manages it.
