San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department <br /> 1868 East Hazelton Avenue, Stockton, California 95205-6232 <br /> Telephone: (209)468-3420 Fax:(209) 468-3433 Web:www.sigov.org/ehd <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> QUINTEROS AUTO REPAIR 2965 CHERRYLAND AVE STOCKTON December 03 2015 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> Containers of hazardous waste not properly labeled: <br /> -Black 27 gallon container of waste oil on the west side did not have a label <br /> -Green 200 tank of waste oil on the east side did not have a start accumulation date or the contents <br /> -White 55 gallon drum of waste antifreeze on the east side had the incorrect start accumulation date based on <br /> disposal records <br /> -Blue 5 gallon container of waste oil mixture on east side did not have a label <br /> -Two white, one gray and two blue 5 gallon containers of used absorbent with oil on east side did not have a labels <br /> -Used absorbent mixed with oil on the floor of the shop on the east side was not in a sealed container labeled <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since <br /> it cannot be determined how long the containers have been on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste <br /> hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class Il. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> Two white 5 gallon containers of used oil/gas filters on the east side were open and not labeled. A black 55 gallon <br /> drum of used oil/gas filters on the east side was open and did not have a start accumulation date . Used oil filters shall <br /> be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil filters,"and marked <br /> with an accumulation start date. Immediately label and close the containers of used oil/gas filters and ensure that all <br /> used oil filters are managed in this way. <br /> Two white 5 gallon containers and one black 55 gallon drums of drained used oil filters were on site longer than one <br /> year. Facilities that generate up to one ton of used oil filters per year may store the filters up to one year. Facilities <br /> that generate one ton or more of used oil filters may store the filters for up to 180 days.
