CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD <br /> CENTRAL VALLEY REGION <br /> 3443 ROUTIER ROAD <br /> Sacramento, California 95827 <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> and <br /> Notice of Application for Revised Waste Discharge Requirements <br /> (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit) <br /> for <br /> GOLD BOND BUILDING PRODUCTS, INC. <br /> NATIONAL GYPSUM COMPANY <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Gold Bond Building Products has requested the renewal of its waste discharge <br /> requirements. Gold Bond proposes to increase its discharge of noncontact cooling <br /> water to McDougall Slough from 2.1 mgd to 3.5 mgd. The existing discharge is <br /> governed by Waste Discharge Requirements Order No. 79-128 (NPDES No. CA0003883). <br /> A public meeting concerning this matter will be held: <br /> DATE: 28 April 1989 <br /> TIME: 8:30 a.m. <br /> PLACE: City Council Chambers <br /> 1313 California Street <br /> Redding, California <br /> Persons wishing to comment on or object to the proposed requirements are invited <br /> to submit same in writing to the Regional Board no later than 27 April 1989. <br /> All comments or objections received by this date will be considered in the draft <br /> waste discharge requirements. <br /> Anyone having questions on these requirements should contact the area engineer, <br /> David Brent at 361-5667. The proposed requirements and related documents may <br /> be inspected and copied at the Regional Board's office at 3443 Routier Road, <br /> Sacramento, California, weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. <br /> Please bring the above information to the attention of anyone you know who would <br /> be interested in this matter. <br /> I <br /> J.
