MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM -2- <br /> GOLD BOND BUILDING PRODUCTS, INC. <br /> NATIONAL GYPSUM COMPANY <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> EPA Methods 601 and 606 will be taken bi-monthly for a period of six months. If <br /> no compounds of concern are detected, these analyses can be eliminated, with the <br /> concurrence of the Board's Executive Officer. <br /> Mormon Slough <br /> A sampling station shall also be established for the discharge to Mormon Slough <br /> and shall be where representative samples of that effluent can be obtained. <br /> The following shall constitute the effluent monitoring program: <br /> Constituent Units Type of Sample Sampling Frequency <br /> Temperature °F Grab Daily <br /> Chlorine Residual mg/l Grab Weekly <br /> Temperatures upstream, downstream and at the confluence of Mormon Slough and the <br /> culvert leading to McDougald Slough shall be monitored at sites determined by <br /> the Board. <br /> If the discharge is intermittent rather than continuous, then on the first day <br /> of each such intermittent discharge, the Discharger shall monitor and record <br /> data for all of the parameters listed above, after which the frequencies of <br /> analysis given in the schedule shall apply for the duration of each such <br /> intermittent discharge. In no event shall the Discharger be required to monitor <br /> and record data more often than twice the frequencies listed in the schedule. <br /> The Discharger shall implement the above monitoring program within 30 days of <br /> the effective date of this Order. <br /> REPORTING <br /> In reporting the monitoring data, the Discharger shall arrange the data in <br /> tabular form so that the date, the constituents , and the concentrations are <br /> readily discernible. The data shall be summarized in such a manner to illus- <br /> trate clearly the compliance with waste discharge requirements. <br /> Monitoring reports shall be submitted to the Regional Board by the 15th day of <br /> the following month. <br /> The results of any monitoring done more frequently than required at the loca- <br /> tions specified in the Monitoring and Reporting Program shall be reported to the <br /> Board. <br />
