I would <br /> like to address each of the reported violations and explain the action of correction. <br /> #20 Failed to properly label containers of hazardous waste. <br /> I obtained the proper labels from my waste hauling companies and properly labeled the various waste <br /> containers around the shop. <br /> #32 Failed to retain used oil receipts. <br /> On the inspection date I was on vacation and my employess were not aware of the location of the waste oil <br /> receipts. They are now in a binder and located on the counter in the business office in plain sight.Every <br /> employee is aware of its location. <br /> #43/47 No contingency plan/No emergency coordinator. <br /> I did have an emegency plan and an emergency coordinator, however these were out dated. Upon my return <br /> from vacation I obtained a new set of employee training manuals,a hazardous materials training program <br /> and conducted safety training and emegency training for all employees. I and the shop foreman are <br /> responsible for emergency training and procedures. <br /> #49 Personnel training records incomplete. <br /> With the purchase of the updated safety and training materials, all training records are current and complete. <br /> #75 There is no caontainer for spent aborbent. <br /> I have purchased an approved storage container and haveproperly labeled it as"spent absorbent"and have <br /> afixed a "hazardous waste label"to it. <br /> I have enclosed documentation to support the above explanations.
