Activity Log: <br />Date/Time <br />Notable Activities <br />2-12-13 AC1422 <br />Received a spill notification from Greg Lee of LLNL. >2ml of sulfuric acid sprayed on three <br />employees. The release was contained to the building and caller states there are no <br />impacts to public waterways. EHD was on site to discuss the incident with site employees. <br />The site manager John Scott informed me that the laboratory room has been sealed off <br />and that an internal investigation will be conducted to isolate that cause of the release. <br />John Scott stated that after the investigation is completed, the LLNL radioactive and <br />hazardous waste response personnel will conduct a cleanup and manage the waste <br />generated as a hazardous waste under a hazardous waste disposal manifest. An OIR was <br />completed during the inspection and a copy left with the operator. <br />8-1-13 AC1422 <br />Spoke to Sherri Brigdon who states the in house investigation has been completed, but the <br />hazardous waste clean up is still in progress.
