System Configuration <br />FEB 0 9 2017 <br />ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br />The Metals analysis -ICP was performed on a P E 4300 Optima radial/axial-vieV�i$g m�u ively, <br />coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer. The instrument is equipped with a Burgener <br />nebulizer, cyclonic spray chamber, and yttrium or scandium internal standard. Operating <br />conditions for the ICP are set at a power level of 1500 watts. The instrument has a peristaltic <br />pump flow rate of IAL/min, argon gas flows of 15 L/min and 0.2 L/min for the torch and <br />auxiliary gases, and a flow setting of 0.65L/min for the nebulizer. <br />The Metals analysis -Mercury was performed on a Perkin-Elmer Flow Injection Mercury System <br />(FIMS-100) automated mercury analyzer. The instrument consists of a cold vapor atomic <br />absorption spectrometer set to detect mercury at a wavelength of 253.7 nm.
