Attachment 123 a <br />LLNL Site 300 will not label used oil filters and lead acid batteries pursuant to HSC 25143.2, as of <br />the date of this submittal. As recommended, used oil filters and lead acid batteries will be <br />managed pursuant to 22 CCR 66266.81 and 22 CCR 66266.130, respectively. <br />Pursuant to the two regulations cited above, the filters and batteries will be recycled in order to <br />recover and reuse valuable metal resources, instead of disposing of the metal waste in a <br />hazardous waste landfill. <br />FEB G 9 2017 <br />ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br />DEPARTMENT <br />
