According to Mr. Singh, the hazardous waste containers are being inspected only when waste is <br /> added to the drums, approximately once every month or two. The owner or operator shall inspect areas <br /> used for container storage or transfer, at least weekly, looking for leaking containers and for deterioration <br /> of containers and the containment system caused by corrosion and other factors. Immediately begin <br /> conducting the necessary weekly inspections for all hazardous waste containers at this facility. <br /> 605. Two 55 gallon black steel drums, one of oily sludge & water, one of contaminated debris, were <br /> observed with incorrect accumulation start dates of 10/5/11 and 3/25/12, respectively. The disposal <br /> records on site indicate that these wastes were last picked up on April 30, 2012. All hazardous waste <br /> containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties (flammable, corrosive, reactive, toxic) <br /> 4. physical state (liquid, solid) <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE <br /> Inspector: Recaveo By.
