This facility's EPA ID number is inactive. A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without an EPA ID number. Immediately contact DTSC and reactivate your EPA ID number and submit evidence to the EHD. A form has been provided. This is a repeat violation, Class II. 102 CCR 66262.11, 66262.40(c) Failed to determine if a waste is a hazardous waste or retain waste analysis on site for 3 years. Metal fines generated from brake lathe and table vise are found on the ground and in a bucket and is being stored as waste without first determining particle size or hazardous properties. Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately clean up and containerize the metal fines if necessary, make a hazardous waste determination for metal fines generated from the brake lathe and table vise , and manage it according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Particles 100 microns or smaller must be handled as hazardous waste if the metal is determined to be a hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. This is a repeat violation, Class II.
