Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all <br /> manifests for three years or until a copy signed off by the destination facility is received. The signed off copy shall be <br /> retained and made readily available for review for three years. If the generator did not receive a copy of the manifest <br /> with the handwritten signature of the owner or operator of the facility to which the generator's waste was submitted <br /> within 60 days of the date the waste was accepted by the initial transporter, the generator shall submit a legible copy <br /> of the missing manifest, with some indication that the generator has not received confirmation of delivery. This <br /> information shall be submitted to: <br /> DTSC Report Repository <br /> Generator Information Services Section <br /> P.O. Box 806 <br /> Sacramento, CA 95812-0806 <br /> Immediately locate a copy of the missing manifests or prepare and submit the required information to DTSC. Submit <br /> to the EHD a copy of the signed off copy of the manifests or a copy of the information submitted to DTSC. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 112 HSC 25160.2(b)(3) Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. <br /> Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for 2013 were not found on site. Hazardous waste generators shall retain <br /> copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure <br /> on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and <br /> receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class 11. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> A white 300 gallon tank of used oil inside the oil room had a start accumulation date of 5-31-2012 . Facilities who <br /> generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any <br /> time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of <br /> this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class 11 violation. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> A black 55 gallon drum of drained used oil filters on the north west side of the shop did not have a start accumulation <br /> date.. Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained <br /> used oil filters,"and marked with an accumulation start date. Immediately mark a start date and ensure that all used <br /> oil filters are managed in this way.
